Description
Silver Lake Hospital of Newark, NJ is seeking to hire a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation and the delivery of meals to our patients. Part time Dietary Aides will work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 8 hour shifts per day.
Dietary Aides earn an hourly rate of $15.92. POSITION SUMMARY
To assist with food preparation and delivery, and to assist patients with food preferences and allergies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
67-100% of work time: Standing, Walking, Carrying 0-50+ pounds , Pushing 0-300 pounds, Bending/Squatting, Kneeling, Twisting, Lifting 50+ pounds
34-66% of work time: Climbing, Lifting 0-50 pounds
1-33% of work time: Sitting
POSITON QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum one (1) year food service experience in a health care dietary setting is preferred.
- ServSafe and/or Sanitary Food Handling Certificate preferred.
- Required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
