Job Summary

As a Service Coordinator at John W. Danforth Company, you will play a key role in supporting our service team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as a central point of coordination for service operations by dispatching technicians, managing customer billing, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to ensure timely and efficient response to customer needs.• Support service operations by maintaining schedules, documentation, and technician communication.• Process and ensure accurate, timely customer billing for service work orders and projects.• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of schedules, challenges, and operational updates.• Coordinate vehicle and tool maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and ensuring availability of spare vehicles.• Assist with payroll coordination and administrative support functions.• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.• Collaborate effectively with service team members to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of billing, dispatch, customer service, or related experience preferred. Experience within a service-related industry is a plus.• Associate degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience will be considered.• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems is preferred.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive relationships.• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range:  $45,000-$55,000

Other Compensation:   Bonus eligible
