About The Opportunity
The Truck Loader drives a liquefied gas or battery powered industrial truck equipped with forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the warehouse or factory.Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Load or unload materials onto or off of trailers, pallets, skids, etc.,
- Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus,
- Position forks under unitized stacks, loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area,
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device,
- Inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed,
- Replace liquefied gas tank as needed,
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
- Occasionally stand and walk.
- Continuously sit.
- Occasionally push/pull.
- Continuously bend, squat, twist, kneel and crouch.
- Continuously use hand, foot control.
- Continuously use hands for grasping.
- Occasionally carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Continuously use head and neck in flex and rotating.
- Occasionally reach above shoulder level.
- Occasionally be in dusty conditions.
- Occasionally be around moving machinery.
- Continuously operate a forklift.
- Occasionally operate hand tools.
- Occasionally exposed to high noise levels.
- Occasionally wear hearing protection.
- Continuously wear protective toe footwear and eye protection.
Qualifications Desired
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous industrial truck operator experience
- Handheld scanner experience
Compensation & benefits:
- The starting wage for this position is $23.39/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential,
