Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions while developing individualized plans of care designed to restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based interventions.
- Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Accurately complete evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as clinic policies.
Required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible Georgia Physical Therapy license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred
- Outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Manual therapy training or certification.
- Dry Needling certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Vestibular rehabilitation experience is a plus.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
