Facilities Coordinator 2 – JLL
What this job involves:
Join JLL as a Facilities Coordinator 2 at our St. George Terminal location in Manhattan, where you will independently manage critical operational areas including work order systems, event coordination, and site amenities. This role offers the opportunity to build on your proven customer service excellence while advancing toward more strategic responsibilities. You will work with moderate supervision, focusing on complex operational issues while ensuring full compliance with client contract requirements and proactively delivering exceptional service that contributes to JLL's commitment to operational excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Independently manage work order flow to ensure operational excellence
- Proactively schedule and manage repairs, maintenance, and minor works from start to finish
- Lead the coordination of complex events and meeting facilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend operational changes to the Facility Manager
- Conduct initial site inspections and assessments to maintain facility standards
- Provide independent direction and coordination to a diverse range of vendors, ensuring accountability of contracted deliverables
- Assist in the procurement and onboarding of new vendors and services
- Fully own compliance with client contract requirements and act on client feedback
- Problem-solve operational issues independently using a foundational understanding of technical property aspects (i.e., MEP, fire protection, and life safety systems)
- Apply knowledge of local EHS requirements and contract management principles to daily operations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ years of progressive experience as a Facility Coordinator or in a related facilities management role
- Demonstrated vendor management experience
- Proven work order management capabilities
- Strong proficiency in IT tools and platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual areas of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of basic technical aspects of property (e.g., basic M&E, fire protection)
- Experience with vendor procurement and onboarding processes
- Knowledge of local EHS requirements and contract management principles
Location:
550 Washington Street, St. George Terminal, Manhattan, New York City
Work Shift:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: 69,000 to 75,000
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Expected compensation for this position:
69,000.00 – 75,000.00 USD per year
Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
