Clinical Training Lead, KSA

The Clinical Training Lead will be responsible for supporting the Saudi Arabia market, with the potential for the role to expand to support other markets across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region in delivering our commercial plans and accelerating both patient acquisition and retention by driving excellence in sales, educator and HCP training, as well as the delivery and tracking of programs.


This role will be pivotal in enhancing the knowledge of our partner(distributor) staff, identifying areas for improvement, and sharing best practices to increase understanding and communication of the Omnipod portfolio's benefits. It will also involve working closely with external healthcare professionals to support training opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with distributor partner personnel, perform training needs assessment, design and deliver relevant training courses and material to ensure effective product launch and ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Onboarding training of new members to ensure best possible patient and HCP experience for Omnipod portfolio.
  • Works closely with the Country Manager and cross-functional teams to build knowledge, support capability development, and achieve training objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the distributor partner personnel for Omnipod Discover (Data Management Platform), including account setup, report generation, user training, and best-practice implementation to maximize adoption and utilization among HCPs and patients
  • Development of training materials for delivery to distributor partner clinical and sales teams, as well as use of the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content. Training for this will be provided.
  • Assists Training events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, patient group and virtual training info sessions, in educational events, product training and workshops at local conferences.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrable experience of training and/or managing insulin pump patients.
  • Demonstrable experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical organisation in a commercial role clinical/sales/marketing/training.
  • Diabetes experience is essential.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is strongly preferred.  
  • Background in Nursing, Clinical Services preferable.
  • Prior commercial experience strongly preferred.
  • Sales / Clinical Training Experience or experience working with Channel Partners an advantage.

Note:

This role requires frequent travel across the Middle East region - up to 30%.
