Description
- Prepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signs.
- Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason.
- Perform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.).
- Support providers during exams and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows).
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer systems, phone communication, and documentation.
- Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and respect for diverse populations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the medical field preferred.
