Description
A well-established, multidisciplinary civil engineering and surveying firm is seeking a Field Survey Manager in San Diego, CA. You'll lead a survey department, manage client relationships and project financials, and make sure field and office survey work is high quality.
What you'll do
- Manage a survey department, including crew quality control.
- Build and maintain client relationships, and prepare proposals and contracts.
- Manage project financials.
- Oversee boundary and ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, and subdivision maps and plats.
- Direct construction staking and survey control.
Requirements
- 8+ years of land surveying experience and an AS/BS in Land Surveying, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- California PLS license required, or reciprocity within 1 year.
- LSIT preferred.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access, Vantage, Autodesk products, Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated long-term tenure with prior employers preferred.
Compensation: $120,000–$180,000 per year, depending on experience. Full-time, on-site.
