Business Insights Intern

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 24th, 2027 - July 30th, 2027).

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands-on experience, and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Family’s culture including our core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.

As a Business Insights Intern, you will gain exposure to how data and analytics can help shape business strategy and support innovation within JM&A. This internship provides an opportunity to develop your understanding of the F&I business while contributing to JM&A’s north star of leading the future of F&I through intelligent use of data.

Responsibilities:

• Support the “Dealers Like Me” benchmarking platform and its ongoing development.
• Analyze and correlate data to uncover meaningful trends and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Identify opportunities for additional analytics that can provide greater insight into the business.
• Contribute to ongoing benchmarking efforts that strengthen JM&A’s use of intelligent data.
• Support analytics initiatives that help advance JM&A’s objective of leading the future of F&I.

Qualifications:

• This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements depending on the business need.
• The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Relevant fields of study may include Business/Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of or experience with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and applications.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect data and findings to relevant business insights.
• Interest in applying data and analytics to business challenges and decision-making.
