What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily catering operations to ensure smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate food preparation, presentation, and service in line with company
- standards and client requirements.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the catering team to maintain excellent service
- standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, hygiene, and presentation throughout
- service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP guidelines, and health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen teams, suppliers, and event coordinators to ensure timely food delivery and service.
- Manage staff schedules, duty allocation, and attendance to ensure adequate operational coverage.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and minimal wastage.
- Handle customer feedback, resolve service-related issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of catering areas and equipment.
- Support cost control initiatives by monitoring food wastage, stock consumption, and operational expenses.
- Ensure catering events and functions are executed efficiently and according to
- agreed timelines.
- Train team members on service standards, operational procedures, and food
- safety practices.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate daily updates, challenges, and performance feedback to management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with kitchen teams, clients, and management.
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, and minimizing food wastage.
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and handling operational challenges.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
