Your future contribution

HomeToGo is looking for a creative, platform-native Working Student in Social Media Content Creation to join our Brand & Content team. You will help bring the HomeToGo brand to life through engaging short-form video, relatable community engagement, and organic storytelling across Instagram and TikTok.

What you'll tackle first

How you’ll add value

• Hands-on content production: Support the end-to-end creation of short-form video (TikToks, Reels) and static assets—from brainstorming and scripting to on-camera filming and mobile video editing.

• Trend spotting & agile creation: Keep a close eye on emerging trends, sounds, and cultural moments in travel and lifestyle to pitch and produce fast-turnaround content.

• Community interaction: Engage proactively in comments and community discussions with a witty, human, and authentic brand voice.

• Performance reporting: Monitor platform analytics to track key metrics (views, retention, saves, shares) and assist in refining our creative concepts.

• Cross-functional support: Assist the Brand and PR teams with assets for seasonal campaigns and product updates.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Currently enrolled in a German university for at least the next 12 months.

• Platform native: You live on TikTok and Instagram; you instinctively understand pacing, hooks, formats, and what makes people stop scrolling.

• Fast editor: Proficient with mobile-first editing apps (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot) and capable of assembling clean, dynamic cuts quickly.

• Natural storyteller: Comfortable appearing on camera or directing spontaneous filming moments, bringing everyday travel themes to life.

• Fluent in English with strong copywriting instincts; German or other European languages are a strong plus.
