Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Clearance Required in Malibu, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare-related buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
