Overview

           

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Technician to support the preparation and coordination of MEP drawings for building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, and ensuring design deliverables comply with project requirements, relevant standards and company procedures.

 

Your role

 

• Work with Engineers and Designers to develop and coordinate MEP design models in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Prepare and present BIM models, drawings, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist Engineers with coordination and clash detection exercises.
• Update drawings in accordance with design changes, comments and project requirements.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with project requirements, BIM standards, client specifications, and company procedures.
• Support the production of design, tender, construction, and as-built documentation.
• Work under direction of design professionals and the BIM manager.

 

About you

• Minimum 2 years of BIM modelling or drafting experience in MEP/building services projects.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, modelling practices, and drawing production workflows.
• Understanding of MEP systems and building services engineering principles.
• Proactive team player with a strong desire to develop their career and continuously enhance their technical capabilities.
• Highly IT literate with excellent command of standard office software.
• HKIBIM membership or CICBIM qualification would be an advantage.
• Candidate with more experiences will be considered as Senior Technician.
