Boone Hospital, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Hospitalist Hybrid Nocturnist Physician. The candidate for this position will be joining an established hospital within a strong community focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

Overview

Job Summary

Provides inpatient care on behalf of ambulatory based practitioners.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides evidenced based medical care to those patients of participating program physicians.
• Responds to emergencies of all patients and responds as part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Participates in medical staff quality improvement and review activities.
• Complies with all medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
• Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree:  Doctorate in Medicine
• Experience:  None
• Supervisor Experience:  None
• License:  Medical/Osteopathic Doctor

Schedule: 7 shifts of 1900-0700, 7 days off, 7 shifts of admit 2/swing shift 1200-0000 (note that on weekends it’s 1000-2200), then 7 days off.
