The team handles a broad portfolio of Marine and Carrier's Liability claims, applying deep technical expertise to resolve complex matters, manage risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Your contribution at AIG

As a Complex Claim Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing complex Marine and Carrier's Liability claims, including large-loss, litigated, and technically challenging cases. You will serve as a key technical resource within the Claims function, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver fair, timely, and customer-focused claim outcomes while maintaining strong governance and cost discipline.

How you will create an impact

• Manage complex Marine and Carrier's Liability claims, including complaints and litigated matters, ensuring timely and compliant claim resolution.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to claims colleagues and business stakeholders on complex claims matters.
• Maintain claims quality through claim reviews, sound reserving practices, and adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process and workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams on Marine and Carrier's Liability claims matters.
• Manage claim costs through effective reserving, settlement strategies, and expense control.
• Oversee external partners, including loss adjusters, surveyors, and legal counsel, ensuring service quality and compliance with AIG standards.
• Adhere to AIG's risk management framework, operating standards, policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
   

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience handling Marine and Carrier's Liability claims, including complex, large-loss, or litigated matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine insurance coverage, claims investigation, reserving, and settlement practices.
• Experience managing customer complaints and working with loss adjusters, surveyors, legal counsel, and other external partners.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Fluency in Thai and full professional proficiency in English.
