Employee Benefits Assistant Account Executive đź“Ť Nassau County, NY | Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
A top national retail P&C brokerage is seeking a Life & Health-licensed professional to join its Employee Benefits team as an Assistant Account Executive. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong service mindset who wants to build a career supporting employer-sponsored benefits programs.
What you’ll do
- Support Account Executives with the day-to-day servicing of employee benefits clients.
- Assist with renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, and client communications.
- Prepare benefit summaries, proposals, presentations, and related materials.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve questions and service requests.
- Help maintain accurate client records and track deadlines.
- Provide responsive, professional support to clients and their employees.
What we’re looking for
- An active New York Life & Health insurance license.
- Employee benefits, insurance, or related client-service experience.
- Experience with a retail insurance brokerage is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with agency management or benefits systems is a plus.
Work arrangement This role is based in Nassau County, NY, with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely. Remote flexibility may be available.
