Quality Control at AGC Biologics is looking for a quality-minded Senior Technician for our QC Equipment Team!

At AGC Biologics A/S (AGC), we work with the development and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical proteins for both clinical testing and marketing. Since we are a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), a high level of service to our clients is in focus. The QC organization consists of 160 dedicated colleagues, and we are responsible for supporting the production of new biopharmaceuticals by performing analytical testing of samples from the production and stability programs and validating various analytical procedures.
The QC Equipment Team owns all equipment in QC and is responsible for life cycle management activities such as installation/qualification, maintenance, calibration, and decommissioning. All activities are performed in compliance with cGMP.
You will ensure continuous compliance of our equipment!
As senior technician in QC Equipment, you will be responsible for ensuring that analytical instruments are being kept in compliance and in operational order to allow for our continuous analytical testing. The position requires hands-on experience with instrument maintenance. All work in is performed under cGMP and you will be responsible for finalizing service reports and enter work performed in the equipment database. The tasks include:
- Performing maintenance of analytical instruments such as, UV-spectrophotometers, ELISA readers, SoloVPE, qPCR instruments etc.
- Maintaining other types of equipment, like climate chambers, coolers/freezers, plate washers, particle counter and air sampler etc.
- Working closely together with vendors and other departments.
- Maintaining assigned maintenance records, work orders, and service agreements in an orderly and accurate manner.
- Assisting in qualification activities.
We need your solid laboratory technical skills!
The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, e.g. as laboratory technician (Laborant/Laboratorietekniker) or similar laboratory technical backgrounds. You have experience working in a laboratory, preferably in a GMP environment and for a few years. It is an advantage but not a requirement if you have experience working with laboratory equipment and experience in collaborating with vendors. Most importantly, we need someone who enjoys being a key driver in maintaining our business critical analytical instruments and other equipment!
