This job is responsible for executing against Enterprise Data Excellence Objectives and improving the overall Data Management Framework for the company. Key responsibilities include delivering data operations, policies, and governance priorities that address solutions across the Front Line Units, Control Functions and key stakeholders. Job expectations include leading process implementation and managing risk against enterprise data standards, adherence, and mandates, as well as managing organization agility, financial plans, and operational excellence.
Team Specific Job Description:
The Enterprise Privacy Executive is accountable for setting and executing the Enterprise Privacy Program, owns the Enterprise Privacy Policy and acts as Chief Privacy Officer for the company. Key responsibilities include delivering privacy operations, policies, and governance priorities that address solutions across the Front-Line Units, Control Functions and key stakeholders. Job expectations include leading process implementation and managing risk against enterprise privacy standards, adherence, and mandates, as well as managing organization agility, financial plans, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manages data management policies and ensuring Line of Business compliance and adherence to enterprise data governance and regulatory standards
- Manages data operations and execution against data excellence pillars
- Establishes a culture of risk and compliance management, ensuring the organization is compliant with all applicable data management policies and standards
- Partners with data executives across the enterprise to drive adherence to Data Policies and Standards, facilitates effective go to green plans and enables business segments to reach and maintain a satisfactory control environment
- Matures the Enterprise Data Policy and Capture, Transport, Use Standards including the generational strategic approach, quality assurance (QA) expectations, reporting and oversight routines
- Communicates changes in data governance requirements across the bank, building engagement and proper risk culture that prioritizes business understanding, investing and owning their data that drive their business functions
- Partners with senior data executives and business executives, risk partners, and audit partners
Team Specific Responsibilities:
- Builds, leads and develops a high-performing enterprise privacy organization with clear role accountability and global operating coverage
- Manages privacy management policies measuring line of business performance and adherence to enterprise privacy governance in alignment with global privacy and data protection regulatory requirements
- Owns the enterprise privacy policy framework, including standards, guidelines, training and operationalize privacy processes driving consistency across regions, legal entities and lines of business
- Analyzes and interprets applicable laws, rules, and regulations to provide clear and practical advice to stakeholders, identify and manage risks including monitoring the regulatory environment to identify regulatory changes applicable to area(s) of coverage, while supporting communication of regulatory changes to the Front Line Unit (FLU) and Control Function (CF) and ensuring that policies, standards, procedures, and processes are appropriately implemented or amended to address regulatory requirements
- Establishes a culture of risk and compliance management, promoting compliance with all applicable privacy policies and standards
- Partners with data privacy executives across the enterprise to drive adherence to Privacy Policies and Standards, facilitates effective go to green plans and enables business segments to reach and maintain a satisfactory control environment
- Matures the Enterprise Privacy Standards including the generational strategic approach, quality assurance (QA) expectations, reporting and oversight routines
- Communicates changes in privacy governance requirements across the bank, building engagement and proper risk culture that prioritizes business understanding, investing and owning their privacy processes that drive their business functions
- Partners with senior data privacy executives, LOB executives, Risk partners, Legal partners and Audit partners

Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide governance, risk, compliance, privacy, data, or control functions.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams across global and matrixed organizations.
- Ability to set strategy, establish accountability, and drive execution
- Strong understanding of banking regulatory requirements, privacy obligations, and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and regulatory changes and translate them into practical business solutions.
- Experience overseeing enterprise policies, standards, governance, controls, and adherence programs.
- Strong risk management and control discipline
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior Chief Privacy Officer or comparable enterprise privacy leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of global privacy and data protection regulations.
- Experience building or modernizing privacy programs, governance frameworks, controls, reporting, and oversight routines
- Experience managing significant privacy-related regulatory matters.
- Understanding of data governance, information management, and privacy technology solutions
- Ability to anticipate emerging privacy, data, cybersecurity, and AI-related risks
