Full-Time | $125,000-$170,000/year | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Gainesville, GA 30501 (Travel between Gainesville, Riverdale, and Sandy Springs locations as needed)

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our neurosurgery team across the outpatient clinic, hospital, and operating room. The APP will provide patient care, assist with surgical procedures, manage inpatient rounding and consults, and collaborate closely with neurosurgeons.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up with neurosurgical and spine patients
- Serve as first assist during neurosurgical procedures
- Conduct inpatient rounds, post-operative assessments, and discharge coordination
- Perform hospital consultations and history & physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including CT, MRI, X-ray, and neurodiagnostic testing
- Perform procedures such as wound care, suture/staple removal, and drain management
- Prescribe medications within applicable guidelines
- Participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Travel between Gainesville, Riverdale, and Sandy Springs locations as needed
Required
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with current state licensure
- Current BCLS and DEA license
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in clinic, hospital, and OR settings
- Comfort working in a surgical environment and maintaining sterile technique
- Experience in neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, or surgical first assist
- ACLS and first-assist certification (CNOR, CSFA, etc.)
- Relevant surgical or inpatient experience
- The right candidate with relevant surgical or inpatient experience may be considered for training in neurosurgery.
