Position Summary:
The Thayer School of Education at Wingate University is seeking applicants to a fill part-time, adjunct teaching position in the area below. This part-time position will be primarily asynchronous online with some live evening Zoom instruction.
- Communication within Language Arts Curriculum
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare graduate students in teacher education programs to become effective practitioners and researchers in the field of education by teaching and modeling current evidence-based practices
- Provide students with clear, timely, and specific communication and feedback
- Hold regular, predictable virtual office hours
- Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
- Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree or higher in a related discipline (English Language Arts/Literacy) as well as both K-12 and college teaching experience. Experience with Canvas learning management system and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.
