As a Statistical Programmer II at ICON, you will the development, validation, and execution of statistical programs to support clinical trial analysis and reporting.
What You Will Do:
- Developing, validating, and maintaining complex statistical programs (SAS, R, or similar) for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting in phase IV trials and peri/post approval studies
- Collaborating with biostatisticians and cross-functional teams to interpret study requirements and ensure the accurate implementation of statistical analyses.
- Preparing and reviewing statistical analysis plans (SAPs), programming specifications, and derived datasets to meet regulatory standards.
- Ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry regulations, including ICH/GCP guidelines, throughout the programming process.
- Mentoring junior programmers and assisting in training team members on programming techniques and best practices.
Your Profile:
- 2+ years of statistical programming experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAS programming, with experience supporting clinical trial deliverables and statistical analyses.
- Basic knowledge, training, or exposure to R programming, with a willingness to expand proficiency in a clinical research environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.
- Experience developing, validating, and maintaining production-quality programming code.
- Experience using Pinnacle 21 (P21) for CDISC compliance checks and data validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
