About the Role
At Team Global Express, we're transforming the future of logistics and supply chain solutions across Australia. As a People Business Partner, you'll play a critical role in supporting our frontline operations and leaders to deliver great people outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Partnering closely with operational leaders, you'll provide trusted HR advice, manage complex employee relations matters, support business transformation initiatives, and help drive a positive employee experience across a large, unionised workforce. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems, and wants to make a real impact within a business undergoing significant growth and change.
What You'll Do
- Partner with leaders to provide practical and commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle
- Manage a high volume of employee relations and case management matters, including investigations, performance management and workplace conduct issues
- Support leaders in navigating Fair Work, policy, compliance and employee relations matters
- Build trusted relationships with frontline operational teams in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Contribute to the delivery of people initiatives, organisational change programs and transformation projects
- Support workforce planning, talent, engagement and capability initiatives that drive business performance
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and broader People teams to deliver strong employee and leader experiences
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help implement practical solutions that add value to the business
What You'll Bring
- Strong HR generalist experience with solid foundations in employee relations and case management
- Experience supporting large, operational or frontline workforces within a complex organisation
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a high-volume environment
- Sound understanding of employment legislation and Fair Work principles
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels
- Experience working within a unionised environment will be highly regarded
- Exposure to HR projects, organisational change or transformation programs is advantageous
- A proactive, resilient mindset and genuine desire to learn, grow and contribute to a high-performing team
