Job Description:

Job Purpose

Execute BRBU Regional Quality strategy to support successful program launches, support sites/ROD on critical quality issues.

Area of Accountabilities & Key Activities

Quality Assurance on new projects development

  • Perform project quality audits during APQP phases, from customer kick-off through project gates (PG1–PG4), including PPAP, Run at Rate, and SOP.
  • Support the team to follow customer quality requirements and lessons learned are applied
  • Proactively escalate deviations impacting compliance, product quality, or SOP timing.
  • Support shipment release decisions based on quality risk assessment and containment status.
  • Support BU quality tasks on Change Management (CHM) activities are properly executed according to customer requirements, with risks identified, assessed, and mitigated.

Quality Assurance in mass production phase

  • Maintain regional quality KPI dashboards with updated performance metrics, risk status, and action plan progress.
  • Support proper escalation and management of severe quality issues.
  • Support horizontal deployment of lessons learned
  • Perform a gap assessment on the Gemba in regards with Astemo standards

Communication/ Regional governance

  • Facilitate communication between ROD, BU and central functions

Customer escalation management

  • Support customer escalations and maintain aligned between ROD and BU

Qualification: Bachelor lor/Master degree in Engineering or equivalent

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automotive industry

  • Qualification in: APQP, PPAP, ISO/TS… familiar with Honda, Ford quality system.
