Overview
USAntibiotics, the only U.S. manufacturer of Amoxicillin products, is part of the Jackson Healthcare family of companies. We’re always looking to add new talent to our teams, and we value diverse professionals who have strong leadership skills, align with our culture, and are committed to excellence.
The Supervisor of Warehouse Operations leads daily inbound, storage, staging, material movement, and outbound activities in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This hands-on leader is accountable for safe execution, accurate SAP transactions, inventory integrity, right-first-time documentation, schedule attainment, and employee development. The Supervisor partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Packaging, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, EHS, and Transportation to ensure materials and products move only under approved status and according to written procedures. What You Will Own:
- Lead shift start-up, labor allocation, tier meetings, daily priorities, and escalation for receiving, inspection staging, put-away, replenishment, production staging, returns, sampling support, cycle counting, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure materials and drug products are physically and electronically segregated by status, including quarantine, released, rejected, returned, expired, damaged, and investigation hold; prevent unauthorized use or shipment.
- Execute and review SAP transactions for goods receipt, transfer postings, material movements, batch and storage-location control, picking, staging, goods issue, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation. Investigate transaction errors and reinforce data discipline.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root-cause analysis, variance resolution, location control, FEFO/FIFO practices as applicable, and timely correction through approved processes.
- Enforce cGMP, GDP, SOP, safety, security, sanitation, pest-control, temperature/humidity, and housekeeping requirements. Ensure contemporaneous, attributable, legible, complete, consistent, enduring, and accurate records.
- Coordinate outbound shipments and supporting documentation to meet customer, carrier, regulatory, and quality requirements while maintaining lot traceability and recall readiness.
- Coach, train, qualify, and evaluate employees; manage attendance, performance, cross-training, and development in partnership with Human Resources.
- Identify deviations, damage, excursions, discrepancies, or suspected data-integrity issues; secure affected material, promptly escalate, support investigations, and implement assigned CAPAs. Do not disposition product or override Quality decisions.
- Maintain inspection readiness. Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections by retrieving records, explaining standard work, and closing observations on time.
- Monitor equipment and facility readiness, including forklifts, pallet jacks, docks, doors, racking, scanners, printers, and controlled storage areas; initiate maintenance and safety actions as needed.
- Use daily management and continuous-improvement methods to improve flow, space utilization, labor productivity, service, inventory accuracy, ergonomics, and waste reduction without compromising quality.
- Provide coverage during planned and unplanned absences and participate in after-hours escalation, weekends, overtime, or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Measures of Success
- Safety: recordable incidents, near-miss closure, equipment inspection completion.
- Quality/compliance: documentation right-first-time, overdue training, deviation/CAPA timeliness, audit observations.
- Inventory: location and quantity accuracy, cycle-count performance, unexplained adjustments, aging/expiry exposure.
- Service: schedule attainment, production line support, on-time shipment, receiving-to-availability cycle time.
- People: cross-training coverage, attendance, retention, engagement, coaching completion.
- Productivity: labor utilization, dock-to-stock time, pick accuracy, space utilization, and continuous-improvement benefits.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three or more years of warehouse, distribution, materials, or manufacturing experience, including at least one year as a lead, coordinator, or supervisor.

- Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, OSHA, or train-the-trainer credentials.
- Experience supporting audits, temperature-controlled storage, serialized/lot-controlled inventory, and recall exercises.
Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Behaviors
- Visible floor leadership, sound judgment, calm escalation, and clear shift-to-shift communication.
- High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and willingness to stop work when safety, quality, or inventory status is uncertain.
- Ability to coach varied experience levels, set expectations, provide candid feedback, and build accountability with respect.
- Practical problem solving using facts, SAP data, visual management, and root-cause tools.
