The candidate will be called to provide his activity in the Telespazio Fucino Space Center, with the possibility to be involved for short/medium timeframes in other’s Company or Customers operational/engineering centers, with the main goal to grant the proper technical and operational exploitation of systems composing the Space Mission Ground Segment (in the telecommunication, remote sensing and/or navigation technological context).
Responsibilities/ Duties /Tasks
- Preparation and management of technical and operational inputs to commercial proposals, including the definition of operational scope, assumptions, resources and cost estimates;
- Definition and sizing of the operational teams required for the execution of the Mission Operations and ILS&M activities, including roles, responsibilities, skills and staffing levels;
- Definition and preparation of Work Package Descriptions (WPDs), including scope, activities, deliverables, milestones, interfaces, resources and responsibilities;
- Supervision of the applicable operational products development and validation process;
- Preparation and management of E2E System and Operational Test and Validation phases;
- Preparation and management of E2E System Commissioning phase;
- Monitoring of System Functional, Operational and Performance status indicators and parameters;
- Monitoring of applicable System, Operational and Service KPIs/SLA;
- Supervision and Coordination of System level ILS&OPS teams and activities when in Routine phase;
- Generation of Service and Operational reports;
- Participation to Program, Operational and Engineering milestones, meetings, boards and reviews.
Qualification:Master degree in Electronic, Aerospace, Management Engineering.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Experience of at least 2 years on:Space Missions Management and Coordination tasks;
- Space Missions Ground Operations preparation and execution phases.
- Certified knowledge and work experience on the following software technologies:Virtualization technologies;
- Cloud Computing;Micro-services Architectures and related SW Design & Development processes;
Additional Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of:system engineering standards applicable for Space Missions Ground Segments development, operations engineering and operations execution phases;
- Knowledge of LEO/MEO/GEO satellites missions ground segment architecture and operations management concepts;
- English language [C1: Comprehension – Spoken – Written].
- Strengths in analysis, synthesis and presentation, coupled with very good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to apply these to the interactions within a team and between teams.
