About This Role
As a Fleet Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring Electrum’s electric vehicle fleet remains reliable, safe, and available for operations. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, working closely with Operations, Mechanics, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently without disrupting fleet availability.
Key Responsibilities
As a Fleet Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring Electrum’s electric vehicle fleet remains reliable, safe, and available for operations. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, working closely with Operations, Mechanics, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently without disrupting fleet availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across the electric vehicle fleet.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations team and Mechanics (SA/QC) to ensure efficient maintenance scheduling and resource allocation without compromising fleet availability targets,
- Monitor spare parts inventory levels at each pool and coordinate with the Logistics and Purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Analyze breakdown data and service history to identify failure trends and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key maintenance performance metrics, including downtime rates, repair completion, and spare parts costs.
- Ensure all vehicle service activities and maintenance histories are accurately and systematically recorded in the operational system/CMMS database.
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Planner, Fleet Planner, PPIC, or in workshop/automotive logistics management.
- Experience working in the two-wheeled electric vehicle (EV) industry is a strong plus.
- Strong data analysis, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and/or CMMS software.
- Solid understanding of automotive spare parts and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Detail-oriented, agile, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
