What You'll Do

Under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist, you will:

• Carry out established physical therapy plans of care

• Provide therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training

• Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and endurance

• Provide gait, transfer, and stair training

• Reinforce home exercise programs

• Assist patients with achieving functional mobility goals

• Monitor patient response to treatment

• Communicate changes in condition to the supervising PT

• Educate patients and caregivers

• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

What We're Looking For

• Active Maryland PTA License Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Reliable transportation

• Strong patient-care and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in patients' homes

• Immediate or near-immediate availability strongly preferred

• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required

• WellSky Experience is a Plus
