Position Overview 

• Provide individualized 1:1 nursing support to students in elementary or middle school settings, promoting health, safety, and access to educational activities.
• Support students throughout the school day, including classroom participation, daily routines, and transportation-related needs as applicable.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to follow care plans, respond to student needs, and maintain a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain consistent attendance, communicate proactively with the educational team, and incorporate feedback to ensure attentive, reliable student care.

Qualifications 

• Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience or familiarity with school-based nursing, classroom routines, and supporting students in an educational setting preferred
