Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Corpus Christi, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Demo laundry facility
- Remove piping, and machines
- Install piping
- Prepare, implement, and support weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance as required for all machines and equipmentrepair as needed: operation equipment, warehouse equipment, facility, electrical, and plumbing
- Safekeeping and inventory of a small tools, kits, and power tools
- Set- up of all equipment prior to production runs, changeovers, and assembly (or disassembly)
- Work with all departments to maintain production and facility goals
- Complete daily records and work orders as needed
- Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause
- Using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
- Create and report repairs
- Complete the necessary work order documentation and keep track of the parts and materials used
