- Deliver omakase-style service with detailed dish explanations
- Guide guests through the omakase menu, explaining ingredients, techniques, and chef philosophy
- Coordinate closely with sushi chefs, supervisors, managers and other team members
- Maintain fine-dining etiquette and guest experience standards
- Handle wine/sake service (often sommelier coordination)
- Maintain table/counter cleanliness and presentation throughout service
Requirements
Experience
- 1–3+ years in fine dining, luxury hotel
- Experience in sushi, Japanese cuisine, or omakase service, Michelin-level restaurant preferred
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure, detail-oriented environment
- Excellent service etiquette and grooming standards
Languages
- Japanese (fluent or business level)
- English (required)
