What you'll do...
Role summary:The Principal Engineer will provide technical vision and architectural leadership for transforming the CARE agent experience from a traditional, non-agentic model to a modern, agentic experience. This role will define the technology strategy, architect scalable agentic workflows, and drive integration with next-generation CRM solutions. The Principal will influence across teams and organizations, leading complex technical decisions, establishing reusable engineering patterns, and aligning engineering efforts to a common vision. The role will partner closely with Product, Business, Architecture, and Engineering leadership to translate strategy into execution while ensuring the platform is scalable, resilient, extensible, and positioned for continued innovation.

Our team is dedicated to modernizing the CARE agent experience by transforming it into an intelligent, agentic model. This involves designing new workflows, enhancing existing capabilities, and leveraging advanced CRM solutions to enable more efficient and seamless operations. The team leads a significant technology and business transformation, integrating multiple systems and establishing scalable architectures.
What you'll do:
- Define the technical vision and strategy for the CARE agentic transformation.
- Lead end-to-end architecture for agentic workflows and next-generation CRM solutions.
- Drive complex cross-system and cross-team technical decisions.
- Establish scalable, reusable architecture and engineering patterns.
- Lead the migration from the current non-agentic experience to an agentic model.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks, dependencies, and scalability challenges.
- Partner with Product, Business, Architecture, CRM, and Engineering leadership to align technology and business outcomes.
- Influence technical direction across organizational boundaries.
- Mentor senior engineers and raise the engineering bar through technical standards and best practices.
- Build a resilient, extensible foundation for future agentic capabilities.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership, delivering scalable, cloud-native architectures and reusable tooling.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems optimized for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
- Strong technical proficiency in software development lifecycle management, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and observability.
- Ability to apply model-driven design and leverage advanced technologies such as AI agents and cloud engineering.
- Demonstrated mentorship and coaching skills to foster engineering excellence and innovation across teams.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and drive technical alignment.
- Adaptability to change with a commitment to continuous improvement and technical innovation.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
