DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Department is responsible for growing UNIQLO Vietnam’s online business by delivering a convenient and reliable shopping experience and maximizing sales and profit through close coordination with Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics, Warehouse, IT, Customer Center and Store Operations.
The team manages online sales performance, product availability, inventory allocation, product presentation and business improvement based on customer behavior and commercial data.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for maximizing E-Commerce sales and gross profit for assigned product categories through sales planning, inventory allocation, performance analysis, and continuous improvement.
The position converts company and category plans into item- and SKU-level actions. The role monitors actual performance against plans, identifies gaps, determines root causes and coordinates corrective actions with relevant departments until the issue is resolved.
As this is an external hire, the successful candidate will be expected to rapidly acquire UNIQLO’s product knowledge, commercial principles, operational processes and internal systems. The candidate must be able to manage a high volume of information and tasks by setting priorities, working accurately and acting without waiting for detailed instructions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly maintain the presentation of items on the website based on current item allocation list (including pre-order items) to allow customers to shop conveniently online, such as merging multiple identical products images with different items codes, suspension of no-sale items etc.
- Engage in discussion with Digital Marketing Team on weekly basis to ensure the alignment of inventory allocation and marketing promotional plan
- Drive E-Commerce sales and gross profit growth for assigned product categories through data-driven planning and execution.
- Sales analysis based on historical data and market trends.
- Monitor category, item and SKU-level performance, identify business risks and opportunities, and take corrective action to close performance gaps.
- Identify key issues and new development from original plan. Engage in plan-action-review cycle to consistently optimize sales and stock plan with related stakeholders.
- Lead weekly business reviews by analyzing KPI performance, identifying root causes, defining action plans and tracking execution until completion.
- Ensure product availability, accuracy and presentation on the E-Commerce platform to support a seamless customer shopping experience.
- Rapidly acquire UNIQLO product knowledge, business fundamentals, operational processes and system expertise, and apply them to daily decision-making.
- Take ownership of assigned business areas by proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions, driving execution, and escalating significant risks when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Economics and other related fields.
- At least 3+ years of experience in E-Commerce operations.
- English: Business level (verbal & written)
- Experience managing/handling E-commerce and digital systems (E-commerce platform, CRM, OMS, WMS).
- Able to communicate effectively across different departments and teams
