The Telecom Project Manager works to assist managers with the coordination of internal resources, third parties, meetings, and information. They organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.

 

Job Description

Five9 is a dynamic growing company is seeking to hire a Telecom Project Manager.  This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hour budgets, and organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful as a Telecom Project Manager, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Relevant experience of at least three (3) years is preferred for consideration.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Managing Telecom cases
• Managing 10DLC, TFN and short code Registration from inception to completion
• Managing Number Reputation Management Projects (Number Profiles, Number Management (Adding/Editing/Deleting), Number Registration Process, Health Check and Risk Rating, Remediation)
• Monitor port requests from inception to completion.
• Monitor NRM from inception to completion.
• Initiate and maintain regular communications with customers, Porting and Numeracle Team
• Review and verify the order, review required information to provide services requested, schedule/coordinate service installation and communicate milestone dates with Customer and/or Vendor.
• Serve as a liaison between Porting team, other internal teams, and end users for porting requests.
• Serve as a liaison between Numeracle Team, other internal teams, and end users for NRM Projects.
• Provide better understanding to customer on the number porting process.
• Provide better understanding to customer on the NRM.
• Manage Number Transfer issues that fall outside the normal process.    

 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field, Networking or telecom projects preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook, Salesforce.
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines on multiple active projects.
• Willing to work in US time or night shift schedule.

Work Location: This role is hybrid and requires 2 days a week in office.
