WWPS is seeking a Director / Site Manager to lead site execution for a large-scale, mission critical data center construction project. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role based in Daleville, VA – near Roanoke, VA supporting a multi-project campus environment. This individual will serve as the on-site leader for the Owner’s Representative team, with full responsibility for delivery across multiple concurrent projects on the campus.

This is a leadership role with full ownership and accountability of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk across the site. The Site Manager operates as the WWPS leader on site, managing a team of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Coordinators, and BIM/VDC resources.

This role is accountable for overall project success at the campus level, acting as the primary interface between the client, general contractors, trade partners, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full site leadership for all phases of construction across multiple projects on the campus
  • Lead and manage the on-site Owner’s Representative team, including PMs, CMs, Project Coordinators, and BIM/VDC resources
  • Act as the primary representative of the client with general contractors, trade partners, and suppliers
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee project planning, execution strategy, and resource alignment across all site activities
  • Ensure coordination across disciplines including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls
  • Lead site-level decision making, issue resolution, and escalation management
  • Monitor project progress, enforce accountability, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Champion Lean Construction principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and project requirements
  • Oversee commissioning, turnover, and startup activities across multiple projects
  • Provide consistent executive-level reporting on site performance, risks, and milestones
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the project ecosystem

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, mission-critical or advanced manufacturing projects
  • Prior experience in a site leadership role overseeing multiple projects or a campus environment
  • Strong background in MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and complex construction coordination
  • Demonstrated success managing large teams and multi-contractor environments
  • Experience with projects exceeding $500M+ preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project
  • Deep understanding of Safety, QA/QC, and construction best practices

Preferred Background

  • Data center, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing construction
  • Experience in Owner’s Representative or EPC/EPCM environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • LEED, CxA, or similar credentials are a plus
