Overview
As Head Chef at Indian Taste, you'll prepare ingredients for dishes independently, apply basic cooking techniques, provide input regarding menu composition and modifications, manage stock and ordering, and professionally supervise kitchen assistants. The role requires an MBO level 3 working and thinking level, knowledge of basic cooking techniques, and good communication skills in English/Dutch. You'll work in a modern kitchen environment with opportunities for development where your passion for cooking is appreciated. The position offers varied shifts, a pleasant working atmosphere with clear structures, travel allowance, daily clean work clothes, and internal training opportunities, with salary according to the hospitality industry collective labor agreement between €2,550 and €3,050 (to be determined in consultation).

## Tasks
**Job description and tasks**
We expect the following from our new colleague:
- That he/she prepares the ingredients for the dishes himself/herself.
- That he/she applies basic cooking techniques.
- That he/she provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu card and methods.
- That he/she is responsible for stock and order management.
- That he/she supervises the assistant(s) in a professional manner.
## Requirements
**Your profile**
We are looking for a colleague with MBO level 3 working and thinking level, and someone who has knowledge of basic cooking techniques. who has good communication skills in English/Dutch.
