Fahrenheit Security Ltd is currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer / Security Host to work in Birmingham Bull Ring Shopping Centre.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will have good personal presentation and be capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- The nature of this role demands the officer to be an excellent communicator utilising customer service and loss prevention skills.
The security officer's duties will include:
- Ensuring the safety of store staff and customers.
- Deter and apprehend shoplifters as and when required.
- Provide basic customer service and be able to engage with customers.
- Be capable of following health and safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team and be able to establish and maintain professional relationships.
Rate and hours:
- £13.00 - £13.50 per hour and 9hrs per day is available Monday to Saturday and 6.5 hours on a Sunday. (Days only).

- Excellent Presentation (black well-fitted suit, white shirt, black clean smart shoes).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Proficient in written and oral English language.

- Previous retail experience is desired.
Essential Requirements:
- Current Frontline DS SIA license.
- Verifiable employment history to BS 7858.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Flexibility.
- Confidence in dealing with the public.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Good written communication skills.
