We are looking for a Respiratory Therapy Tech at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings— emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient—delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services.

This is a PRN, non-exempt position in Cardiac Rehab/Pulmonary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessment of patients admitted to the program.
• Educate patients according to their diagnosis.
• Document in patient’s records outcomes of therapy daily.
• Responsible for oximetry, heart rate, and blood pressure measurement.
• Assist in inputting charges into the computer system.
• Assist with exercising patients daily.

Qualifications

• Valid, current AR respiratory license.
• Two years recent, relevant experience in respiratory care.
• Demonstrates a willingness to strive toward proficiency in the clinical competencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Work within a comprehensive healthcare team.
