Overview
As a Certified Medical Assistant in Sleep Medicine, you'll function as an integral part of the clinical office staff, performing both administrative and clinical duties. Responsibilities include obtaining patient intake information, performing tasks as delegated by licensed personnel, scheduling tests and procedures, and providing patient education. The position requires a high school diploma, graduation from a medical assistant program, and certification from a recognized organization (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, NAHP, ARMA, or AMT). Seven to eleven months of experience is preferred.
