Overview
This part-time direct service position at Florence House, a Housing First program, involves outreach and engagement with clients, casework service provision, program coverage, safety maintenance, crisis intervention, and support for clients in meeting housing goals. You'll work Monday-Friday 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. The role requires Mental Health Support Specialist (MHSS) certification (obtainable after hire), strong communication and de-escalation skills, familiarity with community resources, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries with diverse populations. You'll work with individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty, providing low-barrier services in a team environment.
