Industry/ Organization Type: Construction Main Contractor
Position Title: Construction Safety Manager
Working Location: Depend on the project site
Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM -12:00 PM)
Salary Package: Basic Salary + Discretionary Bonus + Telephone Allowance
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
WSH Act, MOM regulations, NEA guidelines, and company safety procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
Supervise subcontractors’ work to ensure safe work practices.
Organize toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training for staff and workers.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare and maintain WSH records, reports, permits, inspection checklists, and statutory documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and authorities on all safety matters.
Ensure proper implementation of lifting operations, work-at-height activities, and permit-to-work systems.
Support emergency response planning and conduct drills when required.
Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture among all teams.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of observations and non-conformance issues.
Support ISO, CONQUAS, and internal safety audits where applicable.
Perform ad-hoc duties assigned.

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
Registered WSH Officer (MOM Singapore) is required.
Registered ECO and ECMO with NEA and PUB is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building, condominium, or high-rise residential construction projects.
Familiarity with HDB, condo, or private residential project safety standards.
Strong knowledge of WSH legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently under pressure in fast-paced construction environments.
