Finance and Accounting Manager

Overview of the Job

We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead Sertis' finance and accounting function, with responsibility split evenly across strategic finance and core accounting. On the finance side, you will own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, and business partnering. On the accounting side, you will own the close cycle, statutory compliance, AP/AR, and controls. Reporting directly to the C-level, you will coach a small team, partner with business units across Sertis, and play a central role in scaling our finance function as the company grows.

In this role, you will get to:

Finance

• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, working with department heads to build, challenge, and consolidate plans
• Own financial planning & analysis, including variance analysis, KPI reporting, unit economics, and management reporting packs for C-level and the board
• Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, project profitability, headcount planning, and scenario analysis
• Lead treasury and cash management, including cash flow forecasting, daily cash positioning, bank relationship management, FX exposure monitoring, and liquidity planning
• Partner with the people team, project managers, and business teams to provide commercial and financial insight that drives decision-making and improves working capital
• Support strategic initiatives such as funding rounds, banking facilities, due diligence, and corporate transactions

Accounting

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with TFRS
• Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including vendor payments, customer collections, aging analysis, and credit control
• Ensure full compliance with Thai tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and oversee timely filings and submissions
• Manage the annual external audit and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
• Develop, document, and continuously improve accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs across end-to-end finance operations
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes, including driving better use, configuration, and module adoption of Odoo across accounting, AP, AR, and treasury
• Support and coach a team across general ledger, AP, AR, and treasury functions

 

You’ll Be Successful If You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPD required, CPA is a plus, and an MBA, CFA, or further professional certification is a strong plus
• At least 5 years of combined experience across accounting and finance (FP&A, budgeting, or treasury), with at least 1 year in a managerial or team-lead capacity; experience in the tech, services, or consulting industry is a plus
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, with the ability to translate numbers into business insight
• Strong technical knowledge of TFRS, Thai tax law, and statutory reporting; exposure to AP, AR, and treasury is essential
• Proven experience leading end-to-end close cycles, managing external audits, and overseeing cash and working capital
• Hands-on experience with other ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) combined with willingness to ramp up on Odoo.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) for financial modeling, analysis, reconciliation, and cash forecasting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement mindset, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
