As a Service Engineer for PAC's Projects and Technical Solutions, you will play a key role developing service operations in Turkey, managing and supporting local customer projects and service agreements. You will support sales and marketing of service solutions, participate in onsite works during mill outages and manage and coordinate site works and local subcontractors.
Istanbul would be the preferred location, however admitting other locations in Turkey.
Your main responsibilities are
- Lead and execute local service projects and site activities.
- Provide technical sales support, working closely with the sales team to identify business opportunities and support customer discussions
- Act as a technical specialist at customer sites, supporting daily operations, troubleshooting, and scans and process audits to support improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular on-site presence and collaboration.
- Develop and coordinate a local subcontractor and partner network to ensure efficient and competitive service delivery
- Perform technical assessments, diagnostics, and basic on-site measurements, supporting continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and agreement management teams to ensure aligned and efficient execution.
- Prepare project plans and schedules and ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation in line with company standards.
- Supervise service project deliveries and emergency repair activities at customer sites.
- Prepare customer visit reports and project reports to ensure transparency and systematic follow-up.
- Manage reference control, including collection of customer feedback and monitoring customer satisfaction.
What you need to succeed in this role
- BSc in mechanical or process engineering.
- Good technical knowledge of paper and/or board mill processes (4-5 years’ experience min) is mandatory.
- Service-minded, with excellent internal and external project management skills.
- Proven experience in project deliveries and related work, within the board, paper, and packaging industry.
- Experience with site supervision work is an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English and naturally fluent Turkish language skills as well.
- Capacity of preparing technical reports and documentation and using project reporting systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member, with good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel, mostly domestic.
