JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an opening for a Bander Operator in Simpsonville to begin on August 1, 2026. Our client Manufactures High Quality Lifting Slings. The Bander is responsible for securing and strapping heavy duty lifting straps, rigging gear, and tie-downs for safe transport.
Monday - Friday
1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities of a Bander includes:
- Operating Banding Machines: Securing heavy textile slings, chains, or wire ropes to prepare them for shipping.
- Quality Inspection: Ensuring bundles are properly aligned, strapped to correct tension, and correctly labeled.
- Physical Labor: Standing for long shifts and frequently lifting heavy materials, sometimes up to 50 lbs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine checks on banding tools and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
· Basic math skills
· Effective written communication skills, including legibility
· Must have a strong attention to detail
· Must be self-motivated
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
