The Role of Director of Learning & Development:

We are currently seeking a creative talent - Full-time talented Director of Learning & Development for Cairo at Nile Plaza that are well-mannered, visionary, and passionate and having a deep understanding of the hospitality concept to join our team.

You would be typically expected to Delivers workplace learning, performance improvement programs, and initiatives to best achieve long-term business success; add value in meeting the hotel’s needs by identifying and implementing learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotel’s strategic direction; promotes a continuous learning culture; partners with stakeholders to ensure managers’ leadership skills are developed by means of their competencies and employees are trained on the needed skills to successfully perform their jobs to attain service excellence.

You are a visionary leader with a deep passion for shaping world-class learning experiences that elevate both people and performance. You combine strategic insight with hands-on expertise to ensure the highest standards of learning design, delivery, and impact across the organization.

In this role, you will create, develop, and design workplace learning and performance improvement programs that drive long-term business success. You will partner closely with stakeholders to improve performance, overcome operational challenges, and implement learning strategies that align with the company’s strategic direction. You will foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that managers enhance their leadership capabilities through competency development, and that employees are equipped with the skills needed to excel in their roles and deliver service excellence.

A university degree—or equivalent professional achievement—is essential, as is a proven track record in senior leadership within learning, organizational development, or adult education. You will bring at least three to five years in a leadership capacity, ideally gained in global hospitality, luxury service industries, or other high-performance, customer-centric environments.

Your background includes leading diverse, multicultural teams, developing innovative learning strategies, and aligning education programs with broader business goals. You thrive on inspiring others, driving change, and creating a culture of continuous growth and excellence.
