Communications Operator (Dispatcher)

The City of Aiken Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for a Communications Operator (Dispatcher).

• Operate radio and computer aided dispatch equipment
• Answer incoming calls and dispatch emergency personnel, vehicles, and equipment

Working time requires shift work and sometimes irregular hours.

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid State issued driver's license in good standing
• Typing skills
