Job Title: Chief Corporate Communications Officer (CCO)
The Chief Communications Officer (CCO) is responsible for protecting and elevating Everfox’s corporate reputation through strategic communications, executive visibility, employee engagement, and media relations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CCO develops and executes an integrated corporate communications strategy that strengthens Everfox’s reputation with employees, customers, partners, government stakeholders, investors, and the media.
The CCO partners closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences while maintaining clear ownership boundaries between corporate communications and go-to-market marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Communications
Develop and execute Everfox’s corporate communications strategy.
Protect and strengthen the company’s reputation across all external stakeholders.
Lead corporate announcements, executive transitions, company milestones, acquisitions, and crisis communications.
Serve as communications advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
Executive Communications
Develop executive messaging platforms aligned with company strategy.
Lead speechwriting, keynote messaging, executive presentations, and leadership communications.
Manage executive thought leadership in partnership with Marketing.
Coach executives on media engagement and public communications.
Employee Communications
Lead enterprise internal communications strategy.
Drive employee engagement through transparent leadership communications.
Partner with HR on organizational announcements, change management, culture initiatives, and executive messaging.
Manage company-wide town halls and internal communication channels.
Media Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with national, trade, government, and industry media.
Lead proactive media engagement.
Manage crisis communications and issues management.
Oversee external communications agency relationships.
Corporate Reputation
Develop programs that strengthen Everfox’s reputation as a trusted leader in defense technology.
Coordinate corporate awards, executive recognition, and reputation initiatives.
Monitor brand perception and corporate sentiment.
Investor & Board Communications (as applicable)
Support CEO and CFO communications with investors and Board stakeholders.
Coordinate earnings, financing, acquisition, and strategic communications.
Communications Governance
Establish communications policies and approval processes.
Ensure consistency across executive communications and corporate messaging.
Partner with Legal, HR, and executive leadership on sensitive communications.
The CCO partners closely with the management committee and executive leadership team to ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholder groups.
Marketing Collaboration
Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and execute an integrated external communications strategy that aligns corporate messaging with the company's brand and go-to-market priorities.
Collaborate on enterprise website strategy and governance to ensure corporate content, executive messaging, and thought leadership effectively support business objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Partner with Marketing on field and event marketing to maximize executive visibility, customer engagement, media opportunities, and strategic communications before, during, and after key events.
Align communications strategies with paid media initiatives to ensure consistent messaging, brand positioning, and amplification of key corporate narratives.
Co-lead enterprise social media strategy with Marketing, integrating executive communications, corporate storytelling, thought leadership, and brand engagement across owned social channels.

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
