SC Technical Supporter

Maersk Container Industry Qingdao is currently seeking a SC Technical Supporter, with reference to the Manager for Modularization and SC support.

Key responsibilities:

• AX system input and updating for Star Cool.
• Understand structure for SC products, SCI/SCU/SFI.
• Create outstanding SC product models in EasyCreator.
• Coordinate with other depts to enrich product model BOM line with right route and location.
• Create ECO in AX system-EC to update existing/new product configuration.
• Technical advisor and trouble-shooter in connection with refrigeration system of SCI/SCU/SFI products.
• Give instructions and support to production dept. about the refrigeration system.
• Identify the reason for the refrigeration system failure when occurs.
• Collect information from production dept. about refrigeration system to share with MCIT for further improvement.
• Give support to procurement and quality dept. about the parts that refrigeration system needs.
• Identify and assist in solving technical issues in daily production and performance test for SCI/SCU/SFI products.
• Identify and assist in solving issues of test equipment for SCI/SCU/SFI production line, like computer, HVT equipment, O2 analyzer connection, electric cabinet setting etc.
• Identify and assist in solving issues of test equipments for other special purposes, like PTI computer, O2 cleaning equipment etc.
• Identify and assist in solving software problems for related equipment from suppliers.
• Ensure the new firmware and new test software implementation for production.
• Provide feedback during the ECR process (Engineering Change Requests).
• Receive ECR from MCIT.
• Coordinate with related dept. to conduct tests.
• Give feedback to MCIT.
• Coordinate with related dept. to implement the ECR.
• Design related pre-study for SCI/SCU/SFI products in connection with existing and new parts/suppliers.
• Pre-study testing about new parts/ideas based on requirements from MCIT.
• Follow up test process.
• Share results and initial analysis with MCIT for further action.
• Enhance communication and cooperation between MCIQ and MCIT SC departments.
• Keep communication with MCIQ&MCIT related dept. for information sharing.
• Enhance and smooth the cooperation between MCIQ and MCIT.
• Accept ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by MCI Qingdao.

We are looking for

a candidate with

• Bachelor’s degree of Thermal Energy and Power Engineering (Refrigeration direction), Engineer or similar technical education (Machinery, Electrical Automation)
• Good English communication skills (Oral and written). 3-5 years working experience in refrigeration field, better to have ERP experience. Familiar with refrigeration principle and regular industry equipment. Familiar with refrigeration control logic and control system, can quickly learn to use new control system. Skillful use of office software, better with CAD software skill. Skills with analysis and investigation of a given problem (systematic approach to problem solving) Analytical, independent and constructive.
• Able to adapt to and handle short-term domestic and overseas business travel independently.
