They provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact.As a sustainability generalist at PwC, you will utilise your skills and experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability more broadly. You will analyse client needs and provide consulting services across different areas in the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation, and reporting.

Apply analytical skills and specialist knowledge to support our diverse, world-class client base with matters related to sustainability and ESG
Contribute effectively to complex, multi-disciplinary projects – often supporting several projects at a time
Helping our clients improve the way they operate, reduce costs, and manage risks and opportunities related to sustainability
Supporting client deliverables in a timely manner
What You'll Bring
Professional experience in any relevant sector including consulting, business, energy, government, non-profit, utilities or mining
Foundational knowledge in sustainability and application of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), SASB, TCFD, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 26000
Foundational knowledge of GHG quantification and/or familiarity with the GHG Protocol
Exposure to or familiarity with carbon and environmental credit markets would be considered an asset
Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem solving capabilities
Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
Commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is $47,900 - $79,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
