We are recruiting for an experienced Indirect Sales Originator on behalf of a client to join their Sales and Marketing team. Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic reseller and national accounts.
- Develop and execute account plans that drive customer retention, profitability, and market share growth.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
- Develop pricing and market strategies aligned with customer needs and market dynamics.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, demand forecasts, and pricing movements to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and optimise account profitability through effective value-based selling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and tailored solutions.
- Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and achievement of key commercial targets.
- Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring contract compliance and service excellence.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and account performance analysis to support business objectives.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Marketing, or Business Development.
- Experience within the petrochemical, energy, mining, lubricants, fuels, or related industries will be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in pricing management, strategic account planning, and revenue generation.
- Advanced negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems, SAP, and advanced Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, supply chain principles, customer relationship management, and consultative selling techniques.
