About your role as an Adult Social Care Reviewer

• Review existing community care packages with a focus on cost reduction and single‑handed care solutions.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within an integrated Health & Social Care environment.
  Assess needs in relation to independence, equipment use, and safe care delivery.
  Recommend appropriate equipment and techniques to reduce reliance on double‑handed care and improve efficiency.
  Provide professional guidance to service users, carers, and care providers.
• Support service improvements that lead to positive outcomes and quality‑driven practice.
  
  

Suitable Backgrounds

This role does not require HCPC Occupational Therapy registration.

We welcome applicants from:

• Physiotherapy
• Nursing
• Unregistered but highly experienced manual‑handling assessors
• Reablement or community therapy backgrounds

Experience in:

• Moving & handling
• Care package reviews
• Adult Social Care
• Single‑handed care approaches

Required Experience & Attributes

•  Strong assessment and problem‑solving abilities, particularly environmental or home‑based assessments.
• Confidence working independently in community settings.
  Excellent communication skills with the ability to approach challenging conversations with sensitivity.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
